An interesting city but slightly manic with awful traffic.

An interesting city but slightly manic with awful traffic. Reputation as a “ hustle” city well founded as tourist cash chased everywhere you go. Watch out for taxis - even drivers of yellow cabs will offer “cash” deals - insist on metered rides. Note yellow cabs have fixed rates to airports don’t let them overcharge you. That said it is a unique experience but for a quieter life try Washington DC.

Probably my favourite city I've ever visited. Big, noisy and busy but full of life and so many things to see and do. A must visit place. Besides the main tourist attractions there are amazing hidden gems and of course unmissable theatre, music and fine art evens and locations. With public transport it's easy and affordable to get around the city.

Best experience - Musical at Broadway (Back to the Future) Sunday - Gospel in Harlem's a must-see We've been to all four bigger platforms. Two are a must: Summit and OneWorld Observatory Soho best for lunch on working days, search for some japanese restaurants! Plan the museums for a rainy day. The GoCity pass helps to stay flex Beautiful City with some ugly areas Pretty expensive that place - hard to save on money... Shopping is great, but you need a deep pocket We def suggest to go on running shoes only - min. 24.000 steps a day! :)

I wouldn't say that I like NY much.

I wouldn't say that I like NY much. I'm from Florida and NY is too crowded for me. Too many scammers accost you on the streets. The city is too noisy, traffic is awful, jaywalking is fine. The pace of life is too fast. The subway is not that bad as I heard from my newyorkers coworkers. There was dirty a bit and there was some garbage. New skyscrapers are made of cheap materials and look nasty. Nothing like these art deco or brutalism buildings. Times Square is overrated. It used to be a historical square but now it is just light-polluted place overflowing with mishmash of various ugly screens with adds. Sometimes ir was so packed so we could barely walk in this crowd. The best place to be is south Manhattan with these cozy neat streets and low-rise buildings. For sure it worth your time and to visit. This is the iconic place. It reminds you about your roots and discloses the basic principals of USA - liberty, freedom, human rights and immigration.

NYC has great places, 9/11 memorial and museum was really worth visiting, Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island and many of the museums are really great. The restaurants and street food can be amazing if you know where to go. On the other hand some attractions are overrated, e.g. Times Square and some other central neighborhoods can be very crowded with lot of "tourists' traps". Manhattan and accomodation there is very expensive

Midtown of Manhattan, center of New York so very easy to get to either downtown (one world trade building, Wall Street, china town) or uptown (Empire State building, Times Square, Central Park). And of course subways or restaurants are at every corner. Very nice and friendly staff. The street is full of flowers and plants business so it is very clean and fresh. It is really the highlight of this hotel. Parking for free (not at the same street) but the hotel will cover it. Quiet compare with the other surrounding streets.

We had very nice stay, the hotel is clean and well located, you can reach Times square, Rockefeller center, Bryan park etc by walking. The room was a bit small but it had everything you can need. (the bathroom is not well isolated, and its separated just by sliding doors, just to keep in mind if sharing the room with not a close person). Breakfast was nice, personally i would prefer a bit more vegetables, but it was okay. In general we had a great stay during holiday season in the center of Manhattan.

This hotel was very central to all we wanted to do in NYC. Check-in was easy, the room was fine as expected (very bare and minimal as expected) and the process was easy. I wanted a cheap, budget friendly, no frills place to stay, and this was perfect for it. Awesome location, affordable, and had just what you needed and nothing more (or fancy). You're in NYC, no need for a super nice hotel, get out and enjoy the city!

Accommodation in New York City is expensive and lots of taxes involved. This accommodation was the best value we could find and we were happy with everything. We liked the way the hotel communicated in regards to allowing an early check-in and allowed us to leave our luggage earlier. They even moved our luggage to our room before we arrived to pickup keys.

My expectations were very low. This is by far the least expensive hotel available in New York City (at least a "regular" hotel - I knew there was a shared bathroom. It was clean and functional - and it was a regular toilet/bathroom - just not for my own private use. I was there for only a short night - and very pleased with what I got for my money.

Large room relative to Manhattan, but for sure the are not 323ft as indicated at Booking, it seems less than 200ft which is still large for this area. A car pickup/drop place at the hotel backward very helpful at this busy area of Manhattan. The location at the Times Square for some people will be best, for other maybe too busy and crowded

Decent hotel in a great location if you love to be in downtown New York City. While Canal Street can be a little iffy, this location is on the cleaner end, right below Soho's West Broadway, and next to Tribeca. And the price beats many of the cooler hotels in the area, if you're on a budget.
